I heard all of new england. Forecast for our vt house says 70% chance of snow. But I'm hearing 5-10" here friday and schools were cancelled here today, along with last wed-thur

Miles hasn't been to school in a week. They had Wed-Thu off for snow, Fri off for a professional development day, Mon for MLK day, and today for ice.

I wouldn't be so jealous right now. We are getting inches of rain today, that is turning immediately to ice! I broke the work vans mirror trying to scrape the ice off of it. I had to break about an inch of ice off the sidewalks to clear them. Not a good day

i can only imagine what the apartment parking lot looks like, i am waiting for her to call and report. i replenished the salt supply before i left, so she will be able to get herself out.

Evening guys.
I would rather another foot of snow instead of this MESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But then again when this all freezes it will be like concrete and be here till June.
I heard that we might get 6"-10" or 8"-12" on Fri.
The kids are liking the days off but I can't say the same for the wife, LOL.

Trying to snowblow this stuff was a pain, it was definitely a mess driving today and being outside. I got the truck thawed out once, left it for 2 hours and had to do it again.. entire thing was a sheet of ice
