Just finished the driveways and walks. I hate plowing this stuff cause its murder on the truck. The piles just don't want to move. Dumped almost an entire bag (40#) of ice melt on the driveway in hopes of a better outlook tomorrow morning. Only time will tell.
I don't believe my mother's minivan will be going anywhere for a good long while.
During last week's monster storm I couldn't get snow far enough back to get it clear. Now this mess is pushed into a few banks behind it even more because I didn't dare hit the piles any harder than I did for fear of setting off the airbags.
So I guess unless we bring a payloader home... it's parked for the winter.
Waiting for the rain to stop before I bother with any calcium chloride. Rain would just wash it away if I pt it down now.
me too, does anyone have one of the ct chapter decals in silver on a non-tinted window? i haven't put mine on yet and i'm not sure if you will be able to see it or not..
Anyone driving around North Branford in the area where Village Street meets 22 be VERY careful.
I almost got pegged by some little jerkoff driving a plow for North Branford. OBS Ford with a 9' Fisher plow. No amber lights and whipping through stop signs at had to be 25+ never even took his foot off the accelerator.
Saw him twice in the same area there going to and from my house from the shop. First time he would've hit me if I wasn't paying attention. Second time I saw him coming and pulled off onto a side street before he came whipping through. If I ever meet the lovely individual he will get a lesson on CT law regarding who IS and ISN'T allowed to disregard traffic signals and when.
Only reason I know it was a town truck not some plow-happy private truck is that it had the town name on the door.
