Good morning guys.
Ray I hope you have a good day and a safe ride home.
Looks like we will get some snow tomorrow.
I hope it is not to much because my son and I are supposed to go to the garbage museum in Stratford Saturday morning with the cub scouts.

Garbage museum? Never of such a thing. Probably a stupid question but what is there and what do they talk about? Which requirement is this for?
Interesting. So it is a working recycling center and information center in one. The only part that is sketchy to me is Are they pushing that man is creating "climate change "? I do believe in recycling what can be used over to save on raw materials.
There is a "Garbage to Energy" plant in Bridgeport.
It's been around long enough that I doubt the efficiency is very high but at least the incinerator is producing electricity in addition to emissions.
I think the change to single stream recycling in Connecticut will encourage the public to participate, at least it makes it simpler for those of us that do.
I would like to see a cellulosic ethanol plant there as well.
We discard tons & tons of leaves, brush, paper and wooden construction debris every day.
The efficiency of these plants is upward of 80% v/s 20% for corn ethanol plants. The lignin is used to fire the plant and the byproducts can be used as soil amendment or as raw stock to produce actual fertilizer.
