i dint get to do a buzz test cause i started the truck then hooked it up and it worked so ill try and figure that out
how do i check hpop presure or is that the icp ? and to see how it holds up i have to run WOT from 70 to 90 right ?
what othere thing should i look into i had a code but cant find it now that i came back in the house how do i pull it back up i can pull all my other info up but not the code ?
To connect, you need to have the key to run and everything hooked up.
ICP is injection control pressure or the pressure your HPOP is putting out.
whats a cct test ? and were do i go in ae to test ?
how do those number look ?
CCT= Cylinder Contribution Self Test Key On Engine Running (KOER) Cylinder Contribution Self Test is a functional test of the PCM performed on-demand with the engine running, A/C off and engine oil temperature above 21°C (70 °F). This test will determine if all cylinders are contributing equally to engine performance. The PCM will test all 8 cylinders continuously during the test; there is no change in engine speed or operation that can be detected by the technician. The test checks for cylinder-to-cylinder changes in engine rpm, and sets a code if the rpm change is not within a pre-calibrated range. The test checks for weak injectors or low compression cylinders. A fault must be present at the time of testing for the KOER Cylinder Contribution Self Test to detect a fault, so the engine operating condition at which the idle is the worst will produce the best test results. For automatic transmission vehicles, the best results are reached with the parking brake set and the transmission in DRIVE. If a fault is detected, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be output on the data link at the end of the test when requested by a scan tool. Only a hard fault code (DTC) will be displayed.
Look at Robin's screen shot. It shows the tab that is highlighted. You can go to that tab and run the different tests. The buzz test is there too.
Yes your PERDELS look good, I would assume it will pass a CCT, from what I have seen.
okay the only code i pulled off the truck was p0541 what is it and what does it mean?
ae says its the air intake heater a circuit low ?? is that caused by pulling the intake heater out ?
i did the cct test and i beleave it passed ???
when you first start the buzz test is it exspose to get really loud at first then all the injectors buzz seperatly ? none of them realy sound the same im going to do it again tomorrow
can i pull up all of the cylinders at once ?
im sure ill have more questions tomorrow happy new years guys and thanks for all the help

That code comes up if you have done the AIH delete.

If it passed it will say so or give a dtc for the cylinder(s) that fail.

In the box under the Initiate button for each test there is a description of the test. Read It.

Don't know what you mean.

If they are all checked as in this Live Data Grid screen shot you will see them all. You can switch to Live Data Meters and watch as well. You can check each cyclinder in the Live Data Meter but you have to do it on a meter drop down one at a time. On the Live Data Grid you can check mark them all from one drop down.
