DP Tuner today with P0670 code though

Just installed the DP Tuner. Wow! Everything everone said is true. After the first ride though the engine light came on and my code reader shows P0670. Anyone tell what that is? I'm fix'n to head out for a weekend haul tonight!

I see it is a glow plug control circuit malfunction. Any ideas why with the installation of the DP Tuner? Did I do something wrong or perhaps unplugged something under the hood wrenching?

Well it could be the chip but I would call jody to confirm this. Since you are going on a haul I would test out the GP's just to be sure. a 99 sould have a relay with a shunt attached to it and the GP wires attached to the shunt. It doesnt look like it does anything but it allows the PCM to monitor the GP circuits.

Maybe something different needs to be programmed in the chip for the cali trucks. Contact Jody or Diane at DP and they can tell you.

I am thinking he needs to program the chip for a cali-emmissions truck. When I ordered my chip I didnt know if it was or how to know, He had me look for the GPCM.

That is one of the easiest ways. Just look on top of the motor. If you have the box, its California emissions. If you have the relay only.....it isn't.

OK i'll go check it out in a few. My Truck won't start at all in this cold weather. Is that normal if my chip isn't correct for CA emissions?

I have a truck (F350) with California emissions and it dos not have the GPCM it has the relay only. I also get the PO670 code from time to time, when I ordered my DP I dont know if they were aware that I had California truck ? . So I am very interested if have a DP issue or something else ?.

Thats really odd, So you have 2 relays under the hood? Im guessing someone changed it out with a non Cali-emmissions wiring harness.
