C6 speedo cable or electronic?
I just bought a C6 trans that I was told came out of an E series van. After looking at the tailshaft housing, I noticed that there is no plug in for the speedo cable. Does this trans have an electronic speed sensor? If so, where is it? Having said that, this transmission is going behind a Windsor based 418 stroker engine which in turn is all going into a '69 F100 2wd pickup. Any ideas on how I'm going to hook up the speedometer to this transmission? This truck may be getting a new gauge cluster so a modern speedo gauge might be in order, but I may want to keep the stock gauge....help please.
