Scan tools
I just ordered and recieved a U581 CAN OBDII/EOBDII Memo Scanner(live data). Does anybody else have one? Like or dislike? It is an inexpensive scanner and thought I would try it out. Do the inexpensive scanners work as well as the more expensive ones? The instruction manual has a lot of misspellings and is unhelpful. There website seems less the professional also. I sent a email with some questions to them about a week ago with no response.

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
I use a $50 code reader (now $20) that read and erase basic codes.

Does the job for me.
For $100... I would consider spending less for the absolute basic one.
Real ones, like Autoengenuity, cost a lot more.
