stock ride height

Where can I find some ride height specs? Curious if my '79 supercab 4x4 is taller than regular cab due to the front leaf springs. Also wondering how it compares to the highboy. All I can find is the highboy is about 2 inches taller than a lowboy. Doesn't help much in my case as I'm wondering if my supercab is taller than reg cab so might be closer to highboy height. Know what i mean? Thanks.

From what I've read on here the difference in only about 2" so I don't know how easy you could really tell the difference; if they both were truly stock height.

Yes, I read that and it's a great write-up but has no mention of '73-'79 ride heights. Unless I missed it. Gonna measure mine tomorrow and see how it compares to the '67-'72.

Closer to 3-4 inches difference nowadays with the negative arched springs sagging so badly over time, compared to the earlier trucks springs, which don't wear anywhere close to flat.

Ahh, did some digging and found my thread from long, long ago...

We got a bunch of measurements together from 73-79 4x4 owners, including Supercabs.

Thanks Taylor. One guy said his Supercab was only 1/2-1" lower than a highboy. I'll measure mine and post it in your thread. Hopefully it will revive.
