I would really like to know what you find in that filter after the flush
I posted a new thread of what I found today in my filter. Check the pictures of the coolant that came out of the filter. That coolant has not been filtered yet.
From the discussions in my EGR replacement vs Delete thread and who makes the best EGR Delete kit thread, it is apparent that the coolant filter is an integral part of the repair along with the oil cooler.
Can I have your opinions on who makes the best Coolant filter
How hard are these filters to install?? Since i just did a egr cooler and oil cooler this might be a valuable mod.
Oh, about 20 minutes of your time. Get the ball valves from them or make your own, $17.50 from them, about $6 for home made brass ones from my local plumbing store. (that's each price)
Not familiar with the dfuser kit. The dieselsite kit was real simple.
You can see mine in this picture:
You can see under the CAC tube where you put the "T" in the heater hose. The outlet hose just runs across fan shroud over to the hose that returns from radiator to degas bottle. And you can see the "t" into the return line to degas at far left of the next picture, and see the hose coming across the fan shroud from the filter housing.
