No codes it seems to run fine other than a delay and occasional harsh shift from 2 to 3rd.

Think you are going to need a dealer with IDS and a transmission guru.

Doesn't sound like the dealer you are using is equipped with it.

Is it still under warranty?

If not, is it too late to buy a 200,000 mile max. coverage Ford warranty?

delay in shifting

i have 193,000 on my 6.0 with the torqueshift. sometimes it shifts fast , sometimes it hesitates.i,ve learned to live with it, i wait till it hooks up before i mash the go pedal.a little bit of a pain but the tranny really works good and has been bullet proof so far. just give her a second to hook up and don't worry about it.

You've got a new filter, I hope, and new tranny fluid which translates to new detergents. Drive it for a while and give the detergents a chance to do their job. If you have varnish in the system it may not clear up over night.
