460 valve covers

Does anyone know if the tall "Ford Racing" valve covers will clear the brake booster and the passenger side AC/heater airbox?

Thanks

My tall aluminum Ford Motorsprot Covers would not clear my a/c box nor my stock 250 booster.
Ended up installing a 2 inch body lift after all.

I just put Trick Flow Valve covers on my 460 and it took alittle lifting of the brake booster and ac box but popped right in. Only thing is if you put studs in you won't fit the cover. I put gasket maker on valve cover and let it set up with gasket attached, then installed, then put in studs. Hope this helps. Btw the valve covers I used are pretty close to 5 inches tall.

When you say "lift a little", could you achieve the lift by loosening the ac box and booster attaching bolts, or did you make some permanent mods to their attachment to the firewall?

Thanks for responding to my original post, and by the way, are you running Trick Flow heads on your 460? If so, which ones and do you like them?

I had to install a 2" body lift to get mine to clear the brake booster.

I only meant that I pryed the booster up, as well as the ac casing. The valve covers dropped right on, then I put in the studs for the valve covers.
BTW the truck you are showing is a very sexy looking beast, one day my baby will look as good or better, but for now I am chasing a brake light problem. Happy New Year and Good Luck on all !!!!!!

Mine cleared the A/C box but not by much, you'd never get the valve cover off. I've got Hydro Boost for brakes so I couldnt say if it would clear the vacuum booster or not. I'm using L&L engine mounts by the way

How do you like your hydroboost set up? How long have you had it, and have you had any issues? Thanks for responding to my valve cover question.
