Long time lurker, and long time diesel owner (7.3, 6.0, 6.7)... but just wanted to say thanks to all the excellent members here that love their 2011's like me. Great, honest, knowledgable answers without drama and trolls! Plus how can you top epic's videos?
Finally got some pictures posted of my F-350 with 4,100 miles on the ticker...ordered 5/1 and picked up 6/8. Updates include Icon leveling kit (top notch), BFG's All Terrains, Recon mirror/cab lights, and painted grill/mirror caps.
Also included a picture of my old truck....wish I could afford to keep both!
Petro, beautiful truck! This is pretty much what I'm after. For the mirror caps and grille bezel, did you just run those down to a local paint shop? If so, what did you pay if you don't mind me asking? I presume the mirror caps were black and bezel was chrome before being painted, or did you order new "paintable" caps and bezel?

Congrats on the nice ride.
Actually I screwed up when I ordered my truck thinking I could remove the black caps on the mirrors...WRONG, so I had to order new mirrors. I should of ordered the chrome package, and simply removed the chrome caps but oh well.. my screw up.
Luckily for me, I have a friend who owns a body shop and can get me his cost on everything (even though the mirrors were still $800/each). But to answer your question, I just ordered paint to match mirror caps and front bezel, and then he painted them for me. I think the caps were $30 each, and the grille shell was around $150 if I remember right. So it was about $300 out the door for the caps/shell/ and paint.
How do you like your recon lights? Was looking at the dome lights. They say to order 2 sets, are they just bulb replacements? Also, how is the brightness of the cab lights, I thought someone had posted something about them being dim. Thanks.

I really like the recon lights, the mirror lights seemed a little pricey, but fitment and quality is worth it I guess. I honestly cannot tell a difference in brightness at night, they are obviously not as bright in the daytime...but you can definately see the turn signals in the mirrors without a problem in light/dark. If you want a picture of the lights on at night, let me know.
And the mileage on my old truck (2007) was right around 48,000 when I traded it. The dealership sold it to someone local a week later, so I still get to see it around town from time to time.
