OLD MAN/YOUNG MAN
i would try hitting it with a hammer a few times, maybe that will work. as the saying goes. if it done work, hit it, if problem still persists. duct tape shall fix it.
maybe try going to onto the brand of radio thing you gots website, maybe they got a forum about it. (yes, this 17 yr old does not know wat to do about this fansy dansy new age stuff.) i like the old school stuff, much simpler.

Understand about the forum idea for the radio. It's really not as bad as it sounds. I'll eventually get around to sitting down with it and the manual and decipher it and get the radio to doing what it's supposed to do. I just wanted to bitch about it a little and have some fun on here. As far as that ipod - if you've never had one - you don't miss it.
Thanks for your input. Keep on working for what you get and HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS.
The radio is in the glove box because I want my truck to appear "original" and therefore want to hide the new one. The original radio is still mounted in the dash as it is supposed to be. As for the new radio - it does "turn on" and I can hear "noise" from the speakers, but for what it cost, I want to hear the "noise" of my choosing - not "noise" of its' choosing.

and i hear everyone on this "people not understanding the value of money" nowadays. i see it everyday at work. in my profession there are kids coming in and spending mommy and daddy's money all day. it is kinda sad. i've worked for everything i've ever had. every now and then there's one that comes through our doors at work that actually understands morals and values. it is rare now.

Actually, the installation and radio is fine - I just really get annoyed with instructions that are aimed solely at people who are familiar with current terminology and gadgets. Their manual needs to be more "user friendly" WITH PICTURES!! ha ha
As far as kids spending mommy/daddy's money - sounds like your girlfriend lives in a neighborhood that promotes that! And yep, it is sad.
