Mirror Install
So i picked up a set of mirrors off of ebay (NOS, in the original box, with the Ford part # still on them). However, they didn't really come with instructions so much as a blueprint/schematic. The part # is C8TB-17682-B. The problem is, the schematic doesn't really seem to show how to install them. They're not the traditional "West Coast Mirrors." It seems to have one main bracket and two support brackets; but the main bracket mounts on the fender just in front of the door with the support brackets attaching to the door. Has anybody ever seen these before?

It sounds like they might be like the mirrors on my '72. They attach in three places, the main bracket attaches to the door above and below the wing window, and the support bracket attaches to the front edge of the door. Here's a pic of my truck. It's kind of hard to tell, but you can get the idea.
