Well finished up the header exhaust pipes, at least now I have something on there more than straight open headers.

I now have 3 ft of pipe about to the xfer case cross member, might put more pipe on and maybe some mufflers? MAYBE???

Drove it around the place for 20 or so minutes it still needs some tuning/tightening. Also got alot of the wiring mess straightened out, dropping and cleaning the fuel tanks next.

Come on down spend a day and help me wrench on some stuff, I broke the shifter cable end, so that turned into a total rebuild of the mount ect.....

Got some flow masters mocked up to put on, it help quite a bit, but I like it LOUD!

If you can't go loud - go home!

Years ago I had sort-of straight pipes on my F250 until the law started coming down on me. There were glass pack shells in there, but they were absolutely hollow.

Keep wrenching Rich and you'll be ready by spring.

I had CherryBombs on my Jeep, of course they were right at the end of the headers. They would set car alarms off as I passed them.

Its hard to hear your spotter with open headers, so I am going to use some old flowmasters, it ought to still have a good rumble.

Got the side fuel tank dropped, it was full of gunk, and not even hooked up anyway.

Rear tank is next to clean out, and working on some floor panels, so when I mount the seats they will stay bolted in.

Yea the PO sort of had the interior cobbled up and the floor pans have a number of holes, rust and otherwise. So I am tread plate overlaying it to have something to bolt stuff too, and making a small storage area under the passenger seat.

I have to rework the muffler/exhaust idea have to get a exhaust donut in there some how, can't get a good seal with the current setup, it has major exhaust leaks.

And still need to drop the rear tank, its been to dang cold out there today.

I can't remember ever having a spotter. There's no challenge when someone is telling you the easy way to climb a boulder. And to hell with stacking rocks, that's for sissies.

Terry. I've had 5 tonite .
I don't drink on the trail tho.
Rich, it's getting too cold out now, but I've been thinking of pulling the engine out of the Jeep and figureing out what bolts I need to at least get back on the trail.
It's far from where I want it to be in regards to suspension, axles, tires, etc.

Yes I have my storage unit, which I'm slowly making into a shop, altho I can't weld in there. I can atleast putter around and fix things, and swap the engine out etc.
