Any truck that starts the the letters "FX" is number one in my books.Give's more of that rugged truck look.

I prefer the Lariat because I like having the chrome grill and bumpers over the painted ones. The painted bumpers end up getting chipped by rocks.

IMO:
(2011)

I find the laraits grille the least attractive out of all trim levels. And the Lariat interior with the horrible wood grain is just a non-starter. Its too bad too cause I'd be dang tempted to get a 6.2L if the above were not so.

But thats just my eyes.

And that said when I see a solid black lariat with 20's and aggresive rubber, I think it looks as good as any truck... (minus the grille)

As a former owner of a 09 Lariat, my vote goes to the FX2. After driving a 5.0 Platium 4x4 today, I would like to get a FX2 with a 5.0.

Wouldn't have painted bumpers on my truck.....useless. They chip. Trucks are for working and chrome holds up better, longer. Just my $0.02. Regarding Lariat and FX--they both look great. Matter of personal choice.

I vote FX2, but I'd be hard pressed to turn away from a Lariat on looks alone. I think the Lariat is still a good looking truck.
