IP or Injectors!

I have a 89 F250 7.3 that has had an air intrusion problem for some time and like the procrastinator i am i waited to fix it! I installed a new injection kit and it starts up right away now! Thank God! My problem now is that it drove nicely and smooth for about 25 miles and now it is blowing bluish white smoke and chug-a-lugs a lot(loss of power and horrible fuel mileage) when i get to a higher RPM. Its progressively getting worse! When I put throttle down and get to speed and let off to cruise it will smoke horrifically! So my question is Which is it.....IP or Injectors? I am assuming since it now has some sort of pressure buildup that it is showing its ugly head with other stuff! I do need to change both but really can't afford both at this time! How do I figure out which it is? Thanks in advance for the help!

After driving the truck for a while, within 10 minutes or so of shutting it off go under the hood and feel each injection line. If you find one or more that are noticeably hotter than the others, those are bad injectors. If you do find some, id replace the injectors, BUT sometimes new injectors will quickly kill an old IP. If you've got some old junk or somethin you can take to scrap, that would help some. An IP from pensacola diesel is 350 bucks IIRC. Injectors are usually btwn 20 and 30 dollars.

Is Pensacola's stuff of quality workmanship. Never ordered anything from there before! But for the price I just might! Napa wants 65 a piece for ramans!

I see they reman two types of injectors the delphi and some other off brand. Is either good one is half the price of the other. Just curious!

pensacola Fuel Injection

The eight Delphis I received from Pensacola Fuel were brand new....not remanufactured. They are working well for me; they've been installed and running for about three weeks now. I also bought the return line kit. The o-rings are standard issue and the caps are fine as are the clamps . The return hose was too short for a complete change-out and was a noticably lower quality then what was on my truck. For the money ($20.00), I'd buy the return kit again and just buy different hose. OEM caps are $5.00 each.
