Did anyone else watch TRUCKS on TNN today. After they have built up a Blazer and a Jeep they are finally going to build an old bronco for offroading. I was getting tired of not seeing Fords.
They did a ford recently. They converted a late model ranger into a sand runner. He took off the old fenders and bed sides and replaced them with fiberglass ones with wider openings. He also replaced the front and back suspension with a beefier(sp?)set up for jumping and such. Oddly though they kept the engine the same.
Why don't they ever show the rusty nut that is fused to the truck that slows you down for 2 hours?
Yeah it's that rusty nut that makes most upgrades i have almost impossible with the tools i have, i'm sorry but prying at something isn't something i like to do with it on a jack stand, too easy to end up on top of ya, ya know? I like that show as well, but tell me this why does no magazine, tv show, or book write anything about anything on the 300 strait six? this has been a well proven motor for both dependability and offroad prowess. I think it's time some people wake up and realize this and make some friggen parts for it already!
