window switchs /junkyards
hi guys the window switch went bad on my 2006 crew cab. to make a long story short instead of buying just one single switch i want/need to replace the whole control thing with all 4 switchs on it anyone know where i might look for parts for a newer vehicle like this none of the local places have trucks this new
If your talking about the drivers door window switches, they are sold as a single assembly (4 windows and the on/off control switch). They're only 50 bucks, if my memory serves me.
If you pick up one at a yard, dig around on this site or one of the other sites for instructions on how to open the assembly up so you can clean up the burnt contacts that develop on the switches, especially on the drivers window switch.

I have just replaced the window switch couple months ago. It costed about $44 (new from dealer) plus tax and 10 minutes to put in. I keep the old one and planning to clean up the contacts when I have time. The dealer said if it is the other side which is the single switch, the cost is $17 per switch.
