I guess that makes sense. Splice into the power wire for the passenger window and then just put a toggle switch so when the switch is on power is will go to the window switch.
id have to check what all the fuse for the power windows runs but you may just be able to put a toggle on the wire comming from the fuse and mount it somewhere convent for you
Don't know if it will help but the crew cab comes with a window lock switch. I guess that means the wiring is already there you just need to figure out what to tap into. IDK
jethro, yours is easy since you only have one window to lock out, i can give you the wire color and all you have to do is cut the wire under the dash and splice a toggle into it.
ok c00n thanks. i'm gonna put the switch on the door under the door lock switch.
strokin the dp will help i havent been able to get to c00n's house yet to check the dp that he has. thanks guys for all the help
Interesting... my truck came with a lock switch. It disables the passenger window controls but leaves the driver switch functional.
You'll need to get the wiring diagram. I'd help... but my shop CD died. The switch interrupts the power or ground only for the passenger switches; I just can't remember which.
