Engine Kit?
Is there a fastener kit for the 460 that basically inlcudes every bolt/fastener for a rebuild? I have a basic kit for these things:
Distributor
Intake Manifold
Water Neck
Valve Covers
Front Timing Cover
Water Pump
Fuel Pump
Oil Pan
Headers
But I am looking for bolts for everything, like the starter, the carb, all the a/c mounting brackets and whatnot. Except for the head bolts of course.

ARP sells kits that include
motor mount bolts
intake manifold
headers
valve covers
oil pan
timing cover
water pump
thermostat housing
fuel pump
distributor
and coil bracket
Sells for 100 bucks out of a summit catalog. They aslo sell bolts for just about everything else

erikl85, You see these bolt kits that 79F2504x4 mentioned on e-baymotors.com all the time.
I don't know if they are competitively priced though. Some of the stuff on there gets run up to where you could buy it cheaper new at a parts store.

Engine Kit?
I've used the ARP kits and had to cut bolts down and request some that were missing. ARP states that due to the multiple combinations all bolts may not be included and has an 800 number in the kit to request whatever may be missing.
Convenience is a big factor. If you've ever taken baggies full of old bolts/nuts into a fastner store and spent hours matching them up (especially the water pump bolts), then you'll appreciate the kits. Especially after you make the second or third trip to the store right in the middle of assembly.
