so my girlfriend's buddy just rolled my girlfriend and his co-owned '79 bronco.

I am still unsure of the exact details. Supposedly they popped a bead while driving in the desert and went back out the next day to fix the tire (they got left by the rest of the people in their group and they asked some stinking prepubescent teens for help but they were being jerks) On the way home he rolled the beast TWICE on the highway. Luckily these guys know how to built their trucks and especially their roll cages...

Luckily he walked out of it with MINOR damage... 150 stitches is the rumor....

First time I was rear ended in a 86 Bronco II it scratched the rubber on the bumper and the honda was towed off. the second time it knocked out the tag light and put another cut on the same rubber but the Grand Am was totaled. I mean motor hit the ground, smashed the windshield and bent the roof up..I think I got like $35 for the tag light and cuts on the rubber.
I have totaled a ford now though..91-F150. Hit by a dump truck at 40-45 mph with a glancing blow but the trailor and bobcat is what cut up the bed and did the damage. hit so hard it broke a bench seat. but the truck was driven from the seen home only to be totaled due to repair cost vs. value.
now thats Ford tough

crater joe... he was wearing his belt. He is stupid, but not THAT stupid.

I am not sure what my girlfriend was more upset about... her friend gettin hurt or her losing her Bronco!... Guess I will just have to salvage that Pre-Runner bar and stick it on my 89!

Just wish you could ship a roll cage easily... I will trust those guys to build mine

t-Hugger,

I'm glad that he had the foresight to strap in...

As for going endo, stuff happens!

I was thrown out of a car when I was 12 years old during a 45-50 mph roll over, from where everything stopped (Including me) the cops figured that the car had to have bounced over me.
no injuries other than a bump on the noggin. and my buddy says I aint been the same since
nope, no belt at that time , but ever since in he last 27 years.

I hope he's healing well.....

I had a 77 F-100 short bed, was driving down a six lane road I was in the fast lane going about 50 this woman in a saab pulls out cuts across 3 lanes and stops right in front of me.it had been lightly raining so when i hit my brakes I slide right into her.Her car looked like a chrushed pop can and I had bent my bumper in on the Passenger side maybe a 1/4 inch. They had to flat bed her saab and I hope in and drove away like nothing happened.
