Just joined the forums. I was searching for help and found this place. Sems quite a useful resource. Anyway, as to the Ford-related stuff... I have a 2000 F-350 crew cab 4x4 fully-loaded with 7.3 turbodiesel that I bought brand new in November 1999. It seems like I'm always working so I don't get to drive it that much, so it has only 65,000 miles. Last week I gave the go-ahead to a salesman for a 2005 Lexus (for me) that I would pick up the next day. That afternoon I stopped by the local Ford dealership on a whim and asked if he had any full-size Broncos. He had only one: a 1989 with 5.0 that had 106,000 miles. I test drove it, was impressed by the interior, exterior, and drive train, so we haggled a bit, and I ended up striking a deal to pick it up the next day. The next day I picked up both cars and drove them home. My wife was gone and had no idea I was buying one vehicle, much less two. Anyway, she looks them both over, and (natch) declares that the Lexus is "her car", leaving me the 15 yo Bronco. Guess what? Didn't bother me a bit. I've given the F-350 a break and driven the Bronco to work everyday since. Looking forward to using these forums and contributing when I can. I'm in Arlington, Texas BTW, so if you're close by, shoot me an email.
Welcome to FTE from Canyon Lake! This is a great place for information on "all things Ford". Lots of great Ford folks who are willing to share their knowledge. I wouldn't mind having a Bronco to drive, myself. I have an '02 S'crew and really like it, but there is just something about a Bronco! Welcome, again!

Thanks for the response. I noticed the "symbols" in your message. Looks like an Americal patch and one other I can't recall at the moment. Is that correct? ASA here, if you know what that means. I haven't been to Canyon Lake in more than 20 years, when I lived in San Antonio.
