Ahh.. damn... I would get the fault codes read before you start buying parts for it.. Where in NJ are located ? maybe a fellow member can come over the read your codes for ya..
I'm in central NJ, just north of Princeton. I wouldn't want to trouble anybody, but if someone just happens to be in the area, it would be much appreciated. I might be able to rustle one up in town though.
Thanks again all.
Hello,
I'm removing the passenger side valve cover. Two of the valve cover bolts have black plastic hose brackets on them. I don't know how to remove them. How do I take the brackets off so I can remove the bolts?
Thank You
So I got at the other side. It was much worse, hanging out probably about 1/4". wedged another $.25 in there and buttoned it all up. Ran well on my test drive.
I think we nailed it guys.
Thanks a ton!
So what exactly did Ford do? I thought they would have fixed the harness connector so it would not pull apart.. I guess it boils down to... if you want something done right, do it yourself ! Glad you got her fixed... !!

yeah... good question. Pretty sure they just replaced the faulty harness connector with another faulty harness connector . Welp, I'm pretty glad this place has helped me be stealership-free for 2 years now
