Ok, I have been driving this truck for almost 4 years now. Under acceleration it's smooth and strong through the rpm range. However, when cruising under light gas pedal pressure, it seems to misfire or skip. as soon as this happens it throws a CEL. It I don't let the skip happen, the CEL doesn't come one. New plugs, cap and rotor, as well as wires every spring. 176,000 on truck.

Any ideas?

 

Have you pulled the codes out of it???
