Here is a direct replacement which uses the two attach points (front bump stops)
I know it's an old thread, but if I post the link here, I will be able to fins it later.

$72 a pair?

I thought the whole point of this thread was to find something that's reasonably priced.

Yeah... I was thinking it might be a typo.

I agree with the OP.

I'll spend good money on something that's worth it, but a simple bump stop at anything more than a few bucks is ridiculous.

Those Energy stops do look pretty though

For a stock front suspension those things look like a great way to put your excursion upside down in a ditch to me.

Proper bump stops are your final and last measure of control when you hit a pot hole or other obstacle. I'd spend far more then that to keep from crashing my Ex.

I'm not at all discounting the importance of the part.

My point is that I've paid similar money for example wheel bearings, which need tight tolerances and more machining than a chunk of rubber...or electronics which take a lot more manufacturing to produce than the above mentioned bump stops.

I've also bought other similar "chunks of rubber" for far less. There's just no reason for them to be so expensive in my eyes.

I very much understand how the free market works and supply and demand etc,. but charge me the big bucks for "real" parts otherwise I walk away feeling like I'm being ripped off, and others do also.
