What do you think?
I bought my truck (see signature) on Sept 10th and have 2000 miles/70 hours on it. The dealer sent me a reminder on Friday that my free oil change is due. Is it too early to do this first oil change? Is there any advantage to changing after only 2000 miles?

they are only sending you that because of the amount of time that has passed. if it were me I wouldn't worry about it. I only ever go by the amount of miles, not by how many months have passed. The only exception I've ever seen is my brother's truck, which is an '02 with 37,000 miles on it! He changes it every 6 months, or year (one of the two) just because it's been in there so long.
