351W alternator upgrade
I have an old 2G alternator in my 89 E-150. I already have had to replace one alternator due to the factory recognized fire hazard spade terminals on the 2g alts. I want to upgrade to a 3 or 4g alternator.
I have a 95 amp side mount 3g alternator off of a 93 Econoline and I have a kit to upgrade it to 130 amps. My problem is I need a side mount alternator bracket.
What Ford side mount alternator brackets will interchange with a 351 with a serpentine belt system? Will a 96 Explorer 4.0 motor alternator bracket fit?
