defrost default

2004 6.0, I replaced the vaccum pump based on info. I found within these posts & it worked for about a week but now I'm having the same problems; air selector doesn't work, only defrost and no 4X4 unless I get out & manually lock the hubs. What gives? I would appreciate any tech. help. Thanks

Welcome to FTE mrp1340, make sure you read through the Tech Folder at the top of this forum.

I would plug off the vacuum line going to your front hubs and see if that solves your in cab control problems. If it does your front hub seals are shot which holds the vacuum to engage the front hubs. Is the pump constantly running? Do you have manual or auto climate controls for the heat/AC?
