Just wondering if anybody had any problems with windshield wipers- motor, on delay settings wiper blades stop half way and eventually goes but slow, I have to put it on constant wipe to get going most of the time-just wondering if wiper motor is tired or wiring?? on a '97 F150 supercab 4x4 xlt model 4.6 engine

Stopping half way doesn't sound like a symptom of this, but check the multi-function switch/wiring harness. They're notorious for going bad in these trucks. My only hesitation of suggesting this is the fact that your wipers stop half way some of the time. May or may not be a problem, but easy to check. Mine would be erratic on the delay settings, but work fine on the non-stop settings until I replaced the switch.

I forgot all about that MFS. They will go bad in the steering column due to all the up and down up the tilt wheel. I had to replace mine about 5 years ago.It still gave me probloms after that.But no more since I quit moving it up and down and I dont let anyone else move it if they are lucky enuf to drive it
