Ignition lock cylinder
Went to pull my plow truck in to get ready for the snow season. I can not find the keys any where. I want to change the lock cylinder I have read that you drill out where the key goes w/ a 5/8 drill bit. looking at the switch on the out side of the colume just above the hazard switch at the back of the cylinder there is a pin. I tryed to push it in but it doesnt move. its small maybe a 1/8 in diameter. can I drill this out and gain access to the lock pins to release the cylinder? What would happen it I tryed to use a slide hammer to pop the cyliner out. Would this ruin it so I couldn't put a new one in? Oh by the way its a 1990 bronco w/ tilt wheel
