I got my Scangauge II today and so far really like it. I've got about a 6 deg. spread between EOT and ECT so i am glad of that, my question is where did you all mount yours at, I am having the hardest time figuring out the best spot for it and would like to know where you ended up mounting yours. Thanks, Mike
Had mine stuck to the dash when I first got it, but during the heat of summer the velcro that came with it decided to release without needing to be pulled, found it laying in the floor a couple of times. Since then I ordered the Blendmount and haven't had any problems with it coming off on it's own.
Yep that's the one but for $50+, I think I might just get a stretch of cat5 for a few bones and zip tie it to the mirror for free, god that would look getto, on second thought I think 3M double sided molding tape to the top of the mirror would work.
I just finished mounting mine. I bought a cheap cell phone holder, one that suctions to the windshield. I think it was $3 bucks shipped on eBay. I made sure it had a large mounting base where it mounts a removable cell phone holder.
I removed 4 small clips on the mount that attach the cell phone holder so I had a flat surface, then I used 3M double sided foam tape(automotive quality) to attach the Scan Gauge.
I configured the adjusting arm on the windshield mount into a small S and I have it mounted on the passenger side of the rear view mirror on the windshield, facing the driver. It sits right above the rear view mirror.
I will get a pic tomorrow if I can, it really looks great and cost me $3 bucks plus 2 pieces of double sided foam tape.
Another plus is I can remove the gauge with the mount easily if I wish to hide it.

Would you link me to the ebay page so I can check it out?
Welcome. This mount is really just an aluminum rod inside that plastic cover, it bends with some effort and is quite rigid once formed in the needed S pattern. Also has a huge suction cup that holds very well, even in -25C weather so far.

I just ordered one. Looks good to me. Thanks for the hook up, rep given.
