2004 6.0, 89k miles...Motor won't start...repaired ficm after finding only 23 volts output while cranking...didn't fix and still getting code P1633 'keep memory alive power too low'...there's no visible problems and batteries are fresh and fully charged. Any one know what this code is? Its not listed in code directory of 6.0 Bible.
Welcome to FTE WandaBFree In the Tech Folder located at the top of the forum you will find the Ford OBD-II Diagnostic PDF If you unhooked the battery, which I hope you did while replacing the FICM, that will trigger the P1633.
Thanks for the welcome. I thought I was doing a good and thorough job of working on this problem (I am determined to fix this problem in my drive way) and now I realize that I didn't disconnect the batteries when replacing the ficm. Will be at truck in a few...I'll be hoping that I didn't damage the ficm.
