if u take out the reciever and look behind it their might be a small grey box with comb like things sticking out the sides, if there is this is your amp and u do have premium sound
With the F-150's and only having a pair of speakers - why bother with going to all this trouble. Pop in a Pioneer 3 or 4 series (whatever theyr'e called...1500, 2500, 3500, whatever), put in new 6.5 inch speakers, and then put in some truck-box style 6x9's up near your head and run those off the head, or amp them if you get good ones - Pioneer 4-way's are't expensive at all, and can handle a good bit of RMS wattage.
Or even better. New aftermarket CD Player, 6.5 inch speakers to replace in the doors, some nice tweeters to hook up to the head unit, and then drop a small 10" sub behind the seat. I mean...that'd be a great set up. Good high-end imaging, plus bass...and the 6.5's could easily cover the middle. Bass block the tweeters though...
