So I just finished installing my gauges. First crack of the key they come right on and light up just fine. Go drive around, check boost ,EGT's Everything seems fine. Now when turn the key on and turn the lights on I get no gauge illumination! Or the top gauge(trans temp) will light up while the two below it are dark. Eventually the bottom two will flicker on
Also with the motor running and lights on if I hit the window up switch while the windows are already up the gauge illumination turns off and the heater fan decreases in speed.!!
The only thing I can think of is a wire not being seated fully in a plug.?? Maybe flux on the ground eyelet that I soldered on?? I used the potentiometer harness. Black wire to chassis ground, orange to dimmer wire in headlight switch and red to red w/yellow tracer on the AIC plug. Each gauge has its own ground ,power and illumination , I did not daisy chain those three wires
