oil cooler

Anybody have a guess of why these aren't selling? I've seen them for twice the amount selling. My last oil sample said that my high copper count might be from copper leaching in the oil cooler so I was thinking about buying one. The auction is almost over but he will probably reli

well, imho i wouldn't touch that with a ten and a 3/8 inch pole. i learned my lesson long ago to just buy new or take it to a shop locally to have it done.

You wonder what 'what was'? The ten and 3/8 inch pole, the oil cooler or the guy selling them? I emailed him and ask what 'remanufactured was'. If it was taken apart, cleaned and new O rings. It's been relisted for 30 days.

The round cylinder thing on the motor.
Now that I saw the picture I guess it makes more sense. haha

Everyone always talked about oil cooler this oil cooler that, and I just kinda was like. Uhm, okay. haha
I just figured it was some sorta... something.
Never actually payed it much attention. I just know mine has a slow leak.

Don't worry William, you'll get a good cold snap and the thing will start spewing coolant all over the driveway.

The lack of any good info in that listing would make me nervous. If yours is giving you problems, I'd just rebuild it. It seems like there was a good thread on it, but I can't remember if it was in here or in the SD forum. Looks like partsguyed can get you a new one for $209.

I posted one here, but I didn't have any pictures for it b/c I was rushed to do mine when it spewed all over the place at my girlfriends house one morning when I started it up to leave.

Travis, that kind of thing impressives the girls. lol Nice links everybody. Mines OK (not leaking) but in the oil report, on both of them, it said that the high copper could be copper leaching from the oil cooler? So, I thought maybe get a spare, I don't know. I got a reply back and another reason to stay away from that guy (on ebay) is that remanufactured to him is cleaning it up, that's all he does!
