While you guys are on the topic of "SYNC" I have a 2010 F-150 FX4 and there is no SYNC in my truck. Say if a guy wanted to install it, what would need t be done ? And what does a service like that cost per month?
If you have NAV, 'Sync' is free. If you don't have NAV, Sync Traffic Directions and Information has a yearly (I think) fee. Check out syncmyride.com
Sync was only a $400 option (IIRC), but you know it would cost a lot more than that to have a dealer install it.
If you could find and install yourself, it will be a lot cheaper.
I don't have NAV just the single CD AM/FM Does the NAV system fit in the same spot as the normal radio. Would there need to be more wiring or just plug and play. I believe that the plastic cover plate would need to be changed to. Any info would be great thx..
