them flowtechs are also 3" collecters, so Youll be running dual 3" pipes... good luck trying to route that on your driverside!!!
oh and the added expense for the 3" exhaust system...

I'd just have them reduced down to 2.5", as of right now, that is the only set that ive found that says it will work, unless 2wd and 3/4 tons will work too?

If i can run 3" without clearance problems, then i wont care. But no matter what, i live 4 miles away from summit so nothing costs shipping for me

get those pics up asap! lol

I double-checked my rig and the collectors point directly to the center of the crossmember at a slight downwards angle. I had to cut the adapter tube at an angle to level the crosstube under the tranny ... plus provided another inch of clearance. I have radius drop-down brackets on my rig so be mindful of that in this pic:

I went to the shooting range and saw this rig in the parking lot.. It's a 66 F250 with duals going over the crossmember and exiting out the back.. and I mean the back! Looks like the dude relies on the cab tank

Tail pipes

At X member

View Undercarriage to rear. Didn't get a pic of the tubing going over the crossmember but you can tell by its proximity to the T-case that it is close.

Yea so it looks like i might be left with going under the crossmember. It doesn't look like the drivers sides comes down nearly is low? or is it just in that picture that you cant see it?

Talking headers

Just got done putting a pair of Flowthech headers on my 77 F150 4X4 with a 400 M.... It is a darn tight fit ... I had to take the started of on the passenger side and lift the truck up some to get the header in then on the drivers side I had to remove the dip stick tube and the front drive shaft.. and the collectors come out below the cross member.... don't know if I like that as they are kind of low still working on the run outs straight back to the rear they are very specific on the applications and I see why after putting them in... had to do a little tweaking on my power steering line as it was against the header other then that it was a good fit and seem to be of good quality.... check Summit racing and Advanced Auto .. they had the best prices good luck

In my pic, the driver's side wasn't installed yet but the collectors are at the same level. See, the collector flanges go back rather far and I would have had to make a quick 90-degree vertical turn up and then another 90-degree vertical turn in order to aim the tube btwn the trans and left frame rail.

I also took a piece of 2.5-inch tube and placed it along the left frame rail and there wasn't enough room for me. Try it and see if it fits your comfort zone. The items in the way included the parking brake cable, a bracket on the NP435, the NP203, and fuel/brake lines. I wanted ample clearance if ever I needed to get in there hence my decision to route both tubes along the right frame rail.

On the 66 F250 above, the owner ran manifolds with 2.25-inch tubing and had the luxury of a muffler shop to make little bends to adjust the route. Me? I had the luxury of laying on my back, a chop saw, grinder, a level, and a welder.

4 miles from Summit? YOU DOG!!! I AM JEALOUS. Heck, if I lived that close to Summit I'd end up working there!!

Oh hell trust me i know. If it wasn't for classes during the day, i'd apply there. I consider it a privilege to live that close to it lol

And from what you said, you have the drop radius arm bracket on in the picture, so it looks to me like i would have the room to route the pipes underneath it instead of bring both to one side. good deal
