Hi all, hope everyone here is doing well.
I recently had an issue with the rear brake line rusting out to where it dumped the fluid and I lost brakes. Luckily I was still working on my electrical problem so was on our own property BUT...... I am about to pull the bed after buying Ford's super expensive new bed bolt kits (three of them ) to clean and paint the frame. I figgered while I am under there, I'd like to replace all the oem brake lines with braided steel lines. Anyone know about how much line I would need to do all four lines? And what type/ how many fittings???
I was unable to find pre-made lines when mine rusted through. We dropped the tank and bought the lines. We used a friends brake line bending tools and made our own lines they already had the ends. I did not try Ford locally and we had hay down at the time so truck had to be fixed fast I do not recall the truck having any very radi8cal bends.
