Sorry to hear that you're dealing with jerks.
This is at least the third thread that's been started on here about dead batteries, so obviously there's a problem with something. (I'm positive that YOUR aftermarket reverse lights aren't running my batteries dead)
But at least you've got yourself covered now in the event of future issue.

I have though that the heat in the engine bay is one issue, but it seems the cold is a culprit to the short life as well.
I am going on my 3rd winter with this truck and still the orginal batteries. I am on borrowed time I suppose.
