doesn't seem to work for me. I tried just clicking the link, and I tried typing the whole thing into a search with and without my vin # and still nothing.

Maybe just lucky so far. I think there are a lot of variables that exist between those who are eating batteries and those that still have originals. When they do finally die, I'll probably get some Optima's (red or yellow top).
I just discovered that I also have the snow plow prep package and heavy duty alternator(for all the good it's doing me)

Having them does do you some good. You have the heavier front springs or should have and then better clutch fan as well.

I knew about the front springs, but didn't realize anything was different about the fan, does it come on at lower temps or what?

Not 100% sure about the clutch fan but I beleive it is designed to draw more air since a blade in front of the truck would block more.

I think it is beefed up to run more when needed...the life of it.

AWESOME Scott! I plugged my VIN in there and up pops my window sticker. For those that cant get it to work, try copying and pasting it into a browser window, then place your entire VIN after the =. Works flawlessly. I've been trying to rep you Scott but I need to spread the love. Thanks!

My batteries have died twice in the last month so I am getting ready to take it in. If I am still in the 3/36 do they replace them free or do they prorate them?

Does fine when I drive it every day but if I let it sit 5-6 days they go low or die.

I honestly think there is a pro-rated warranty after the first year of ownership.

Took mine in yesterday. Dealer says its my aftermarket reverse lights that are draining the battery. Well they have been on there for over 2 years but this problem just started in the last 30 days. second, if the lights arent ON then how is it draining the battery. Of course they couldnt answer that and then said I had to pay a diagnostic fee because the problem was related to aftermarket parts and Ford wont cover the diagnostics. I brought up that lots of people are having battery issues and they said nope, I was the first, no known issues for batteries. So the walk away was that I made them disconnent the reverse lights and put it in writing that if the batteries die again that they will refund my diagnostic charge.

doesn't pass the common sense test and you led them there. I suppose a call into ford cust care may get some help.

How do you have the lights connected? By an upfitter switch?
