I'd call the maker of that drop bracket. That just aint right. What if you go off road and start getting some real axle travel out of it? It could do a lot worse than just rub. I was running mine through a ditch the other day with one front and one rear wheel clean off the ground. That would have broke something on yours.

I understand. I probably wouldn't either. It really sounds like they sent you the wrong one though. Or some improvised crap! This is why I hate lift kits. While aligning a few of them I cussed so bad that I burst blood vessels in my eye. Seriously.
had the same problem on my 93 with 4in rough contry, i ground it just a little it cleared fine, had it in some tight places and never broke any thing. i will have to look, seamms like i put a few washers on as well to move it back a little,
