Ya me either, Its weird though because i never noticed it that close when i put that bracket on... Looks like i need to do a little modifying to the bracket..
Have you run it in 4wd since you put that bracket on? I wouldn't want to modify the bracket if it wasn't rubbing before, plus those are some brackets that you don't want to weaken much at all.

I put the bracket on a couple months back and I've had it in 4wd two or three times since then. Not for very long thats why i never noticed this. You dont think some grinding on that corner will clear the ujoint to make it spin without rubbing?

To also check for u-joint siezure, unlock your hubs, turn your wheels half way from center(straight ahead) to lock(turn), then crawl underneath and turn one of your axle shafts, it should turn with ease and reasonably smooth if the u-joints are in good order. If you have one that is siezing up, it will turn nice/hard/nice/hard as the u-joint is working through its angle with your tire turned slightly.
