I've got a 1985 Ford F-150, and ever since I bought my truck, I have had this problem.
When I turn on my lights, the front headlights come on, yet my dash lights, license plate lights, and the back lights do not work.
The brake lights and turn lights work, though.
To make the back lights work, you push in the stick right before it turns off the headlights, and if you get it at that exact spot (which is you don't get it exactly, it won't work) they will turn on.
Of course, I thought it was the headlight switch. So I replaced it.
So, let me ask - have you fixed the radio/dash light situation you found some time ago?
Does everything else electrical operate normally or are there still other electrical problems,
too?
