I have decided I need some mudflaps for my truck. I am running a '06 SCrew 4x4 and want something pretty simple, but definitely a step up from the plain rubber sheet style flap.
Any ideas? What retailer would you suggest? I am assuming they are about all equally easy to install, is that true?
If you have OEM fender flares,Id suggest getting some flaps off ebay.I purchased mine there.I did look at the normal rubber ones, but they looked cheesy.
Thanks to everyone for all of the suggestions. I ended up going with the Husky Liners from Autoanything. I look forward to putting them on before the heavy snows hit (which could be any day now!!).
While I do love the Husky floor mats (had a set in my 2001 Ranger), I'm not a big fan of the mudflaps. They seemed too rigid of a plastic and I've ripped a few clear off just leaving my driveway after the snowplow left me a little present after I already plowed. I went with Plasticolor rubber flaps. They are fiberglass reinforced, but are still quite flexible even in the coldest conditions, which is my personal preference. My rear pair have the John Deere logo on them, while the front set have the Ford blue oval.
I just like that they hang a little lower and protect my stainless tips (each side) and my step tubes. Just my 2 cents, and my personal preference.
