in injector closest to the fire wall , driverside ,,,,the copper washer won't come out, the injector was bubbling , so ipulled the injector to inspect (black carbon )but the washer stayed in the hole ,i tryed some grease on the end of a screwdriver , then just the screwdriver ,then the grab wire tool(thingy)
then i took thr hot wire off the ip and turned the motor try to blow it out ,that didn't work ,, what does anybody think i should do next
by the way its smoking way to much .blueish fuel- smoke
so what i did was repace the injector , not anew one just an other one
the timeing mark on the ip is just to the passenger side of the mark on the motor ,but i don't trust that because i know the oil fill cover was off at some point that was before i found this site
I haven't tried the lag bolt yet, but I have tried a pick and spraying carb cleaner and freeze off to loosen the carbon and it doesn't move at all.
The reason I am posting though is because I don't know if mine is different, but it seems as if the center of the washer is set in some sort of collar. in other words it is perfectly recessed in a way that I can't get underneath it with anything.
I just used the bolt that holds the air filter housing on. Twist in till you get a good bite, and pull up.. course, it will be junk afterwards...(the copper washer)
I've used a drillbit(much larger than the inside of the washer). Just give it a couple of whacks with a hammer to start it in the soft copper, then twist.
