what the heck.for the whole truck?
wanna double your money right now? send me everything turbo related and keep the rest. lol.
very nice score.how did you manage that one?
man what a lot of nice spare parts.you must be thinking about adding another front clip and making some $ too though? i would be lol.sure is nice having all them parts on hand.almost worth more to just keep.either way you win big time.
That's such a deal, I'm not even sure you'll be able to sleep well at night now
The worst condition fullsize truck you can possibly think of, non-running with every single part shot, is worth at least that just for its metal weight as a pressed cube at the metal recycling scrapyard...
holy crap man that is awsome i will give ya that for the turbo if it works good, i am about to get a ats turbo from c-list for $300 the whole kit off
a old bogger.
yep thats not my only parts truck, gonna take the the motor out. take the brand new 7.3 block that I got from My local IH dealer for 500$. go to theford dealer and get a IDIT std. kit and basiclly build a band new idit. to go in my truck. the my brother is going to take the e4od and put it in his 92 to replace his 5 spd. then i'm gonna take the rest of the truck and put one of my 6.9s and a c6 in it and make a play truck. no captains chairs. just saw the truck when I was at the guys farm working on his tractor. and just asked him.

Reason: addition
replacing a 5 speed with a auto......? lol just about everyone on here wants to do the opposite haha any plans for the zf5 or is it shot and thats the reason for replacing?
nope it's a perfect transmission been running amsoil atf in it. but sorry it ain't for sale. we like autos after a long day of running equipment its nice to just put it in drive and go. personaly I think the autos are tougher than the man.
i'm missing the bottom of the air cleaner box and the turbo down pipe any body got an extra.
just saw the truck when I was at the guys farm working on his tractor. and just asked him.
I'm not surprised to hear the context. The best deals (from the buyer's point of view) are always of the "one man's scrap is another man's treasure" variety.
i dont blame you for holding on to it! i just know there are plenty of people on here how would take it off your hands for you haha... however i do like my e40d so i understand where you are coming from when i was driving the dump truck for my father-in law it was nice to jump in the truck and only worry about 2 pedals instead of 3 and shat ton of gears lol
yea everything i drive/operate is a manual, or something close to it. every time i get in anything auto i stomp on the floor looking for that invisible clutch. but i love my zf5, just wish i had a range splitter so it could be exactly like driving the dumptruck instead of almost like driveing the dump truck
iv done the same thing go from my zf5 to my dads auto and almost put my foot through the dang floor then the next time i actually got the brake that was not to much fun
Autos are only good for when you want to eat, drink coffee and drive all at the same time. The coffee stains all over our VW Jetta Wagon manual shift are a testimony to that!
