If you have a problem and want to run auto enginuity on it let me know I should be in hamilton sometime next week.I am still very new to using it but it might help.
well filter was fine. truck ran fine all day. the only thing i did is late last night i dumped a can of 911 in the tank thinking maybe i didnt have enough additive in it. So maybe thats what fixed it???? who knows def want to do the in tank mod sometime soon problem i have is not a big enough garage so might have to wait till spring.
Whats the weather been like up your way? If the 911 cleared up your problems, it was due to gelled fuel. Everybody should be selling winter blend by now (1D mixed with the normal 2D fuel). If you still had a tank full of straight 2D, temps in the 20's and low 30's could have gelled it up enough to stall the truck.
well the indians have took over most of the gas stations in our area so i did get this last tank there since i broke down in there parking lot.... so i am guessing that was the problem. it was 20's to 30's
You could also ck and see how fast your fuel bowl fills up. Hook a drain hose up to your fuel bowl drain line and run it into a catch can/pan and open the yellow valve on the back of the fuel bowl and drain all the fuel out. After its empty close the yellow valve. Then take the fuel bowl cover off and then turn the key to on (not start) and see how long it takes to fill the bowl back up. It should about 5 sceonds, if takes longer then that then you might have gelled fuel or a fuel pump that is going bad.
