Magic Air motor cover emblem .
Need some input on how many would be interetsed in this item if they were to be reproduced ? Finally secured one of these off upay for the purpose of reproduction if enough interest is found . Have allready talked to the CNC wizrad ( Mike ) and he stated one would need to sell 30 at $40.00 - $50.00 each just to break even .So let me know folks .I so humbly respect the opinions of FTE members . This feedback will determine what will happen to this emblem .Thanks, Denny

I'm having dejavu! I could of sworn I'd seen this very post about a year ago!
Anyway, I would be interested in one of those for my 52 F-6, So put me down on your list, oh and thanks for being up front with the estimated costs. seems reasonable.
Now tell us a little bit about how these are to be reproduced and finish etc etc, I suppose they would not be painted red (the magic air) at that price?
what about a cover for a 51?? will you have those as well?
Thanks
Josh
Im sure at those price estimates you can definitly sell lots of those on epay etc etc to people who may not know about FTE as well, so I hope this works out. I have the original cover off my heater but it sat in the mouse nest in the glove box and half the metal is gone now..

Josh which other style do you need ?
Top pic. '52 magic air heater badge . Light yellow Magic air w/ blue cresents .Have 5 of these . Two are on the restored '52 Magic Air heaters that will be in my trucks and 3 are for future Magic Air heater restorations.
Middle pic -'51 Magic Air badge . Red letters and blue cresents . These are made by our very own fifty-two_f1 , Jordan in Indiana . Contct him for details . Purchased 3 from him for future '51 Magic Air heater restorations . One will be on a restored '51 Magic Air heater that is going to Rich Mehs in Wash. state very soon .
Bottom pic is a '52 Magic air heater badge with raised letters . This type of badge is found on Magic Air heaters in 5 star extra cabs .
Mike stated the process is to scan the area to be milled . Enter it into CNC machine program and leti t do it;'s thing . This would be CNC'd out of a solid 3 & 25/32 " dia x 3/4 "thick aluminum stock . Sounds simple but alot of dimensions and info must be programmed into the 4 axis CNC . It is way cool to see this machine work .
The application of the red to the Magic Air is the easy part . Knowing that I will not be stuck with 20 of these & the intiall investmnet is the scary part .
