Square frame made from angle using the original bench bracket and then bolting the buckets to the newly made square frame

Nice job! Did you have to play with the angles to get it to sit upright?
If the original mounts are used...does that mean you can take these buckets out easily too?

Any further info?

I know this is a really old post. I am about to install the folding seats from a 2017 Expedition into the third row of my Excursion. I had the same thought about using the bracket to mount them. Do you have some more details on how you fabricated the support? I'm excited to get my seats upgraded! Thanks!

Hoping you’re still around…just found this and hoping there is more info in your seats. What were they from? And did you have any pics underneath them showing your frame and mount to the bench frame?

What about head room? Doesn't the rear bench sit a bit higher up than the middle row? Or is the cushion height about the same?

dis you get yours done and can you send any pics or details. Do you know if his seats were expedition or?
